WHO WE ARE?
At Resurgent Wealth Management, building relationships is the cornerstone of our business which allows us to establish the trust and understanding required to properly align your investment strategy with your current and future life goals. We collaborate with your other advisors to provide objective, independent financial advice coupled with a wide range of problem solving solutions designed to give you peace of mind and simplify your life. We use a responsive, integrated and relationship based approach to the accumulation, protection and transition of your wealth. We specialize in working with clients who are facing transitions in their lives such as retirement, job change, loss of spouse, inheritance and divorce.
INVESTMENT PHILOSOPHY– We adhere to the following set of beliefs and principles that guide our decision making process and generate the best chance for success over the long term:
- Diversification-The key to suitable diversification and proper asset allocation is the inclusion of multiple asset classes. Holding a variety of non correlated assets can significantly reduce risk and lower the volatility of a portfolio.
- Open Architecture Manager Selection- Our investment platform is powered by the institutional size and scale capabilities afforded us through our partnership with LPL Financial. We have access to best in class investment managers and we are unrestricted by any proprietary products. We essentially hire the managers and hold them accountable for adherence to style and predetermined performance measures.
- Risk Management– We take risk very seriously and employ risk management strategies beginning with our initial assessment, to portfolio construction and then ongoing oversight and rebalancing. We work hard to limit the introduction of undue and unnecessary risk by aligning our client’s risk profile with manager selection. We strive to develop efficient portfolios for our clients that generate the best returns possible with the least amount of risk.
- Ongoing Portfolio Management– Things change and life happens which means that portfolio management must be a continuous process. Once a client’s needs are defined and a portfolio has been put in place, the process continues with periodic rebalancing. In addition, each manager is continually monitored and subject to replacement should they deviate from style or fail to achieve stated goals and objectives.
